do you think that it was a god thang or a bad thing?
Answers:
It was an absolute tragedy! He was well respected here in OZ and around the world. I dont think he had a bad bone in him.He did so much for our wildlife and tourism. May he rest in peace..
IT TOOK A ONE IN A TRILLION EVENT TO KILL A ONE IN A TRILLION MAN
We're all sad mate.Life taken away in an instant
It is very sad. But he died doing something he loved.
Way too late on this one, kid.it's old news
It was a bad thing.
The man was a risk taker. Stuntment die all of the time. Its just a bit unexpected that he would have gotten nailed by a stingray. I always thought that a crocodile would bite his head off or something to that effect.
Bad. Especially since he was being filmed for a show in which his 8 year old daughter would take part.
Cmon, y r ppl shocked wen sum1 dies? has it never happend b4.
it was a bad thing, but he was an idiot,he was always annoying a dangerous animal so it was only a matter of time before something got him.
I'm with cooki
He was a good Man
It's bad and all but given his line of work and they way he did it, he had it coming. Although we probably all thought it'd be a crocadile that'd get him.
I think the fact it was a stingray attack was more of a shock.
Poor spelling here, and old news!
He died doing what he loved best and at least a croc didn't get him!
same here he was a great animal lover and I feel really bad for his wife and babies not to grow up with such a great father. He should not have taken so many risks. But I did not sleep well the night after I heard about his death, you remember his dog that died that he loved so much? I hope it was waiting for him wherever he has gone.
He will be missed not only by his family and friends, but also by the Zoological society and many others. He was a true advocate for animals all over the world. Many people are mourning his death right now. I just hope he knew and had a personal relationship with Christ. As far as good or bad, well bad for the animals and people who knew and loved him. If he knew the Lord, a very good thing. He would never have anymore pain or sadness.
his daughter watched him.tear,tear
it is very sad he died he loved what he did.
it was his time to go GOD BLESS IS FAMILY :)
Why are you sad?You should be happy for the man.
We should all be so fortunate to die doing what we love most in life rather than in a cold hospital after a long illness or in a painful frightening way such as a car accident.
True the man will be sorely missed by people around the world and most by his family.Be sad for them, especially his children but be happy for him. He's in a much better place now.
Just plain feel bad for his family.
yeah, it is indeed unbelievable. It came as a big shock to me.Its a real bad thing to happen. It all happened very suddenly. I really wish that I would have been dead instead of him. His life was precious
So are we. Don't think it'll ever go away either.
I totally think it was horrible. I wasn't totally shocked because he took such risks with dangerous animals or reptiles. I do pray for him and his family!
I, too am really saddened.
If you want a great way to channel your grief, find a way to take up Steve's cause!
Volunteer at a local SPCA or animal shelter.
Volunteer to be a foster parent to ashelter animal.
Take up collections of pet food, blankets, toys and money to give to local shelters-this helps keep supplies up so that more animals can be housed there. It's especially important in the colder area in the winter.
Organize a group in your church or school to help animals.
Find homes for stray animals in your neighborhood.
Learn all you can about our environment, and share the info with anyone who is willing to listen.
John Walsh channeled the grief from lossing his son, Adam, and created America's Most Wanted and The Natioal Center For Missing and Exploited Children, and they are nearing 900 criminal captures-if they haven't already passed that number. They've also returner many missing or kidnapped children to their families and provided closure in the cases of many murders.
All it takes is one man-woman-or child-making a stand.
My daughter and I have belongd to PETA for several years, and Katey also volunteers at a local pet shop/wildlife education center.
Steve is our inspiration and our role model.
Just think of all the good you can do. And Steve will be smiling down on all of us.
a terrible tradgedy for the world and the animal kingdom
